I am a professional photographer from Fargo. My photography studio located in the heart of downtown Fargo. I should tell you about myself.
I was born in Russia and trained as an aeronautical engineer. I got married and moved to North Dakota about 18 years ago. Due to a lack of aeronautical jobs in rural North Dakota, I started learning photography at Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I earned PPA’s Master of Photography, Master Craftsman, and Master Artist degrees. I work hard and compete in PPA’s international competition every year. I also hold the title of Associate of the Royal Photographic Society of portraiture from Britain; I am the only person in the USA to hold that distinction.
In my first PPA competitive entry in 2012, I won a Merit Award. I won a Top Ten Image Award for the PPA North Central District as well. That was my start. Since then, I have won numerous distinctions every year. I have traveled to Spain, Russia, France, the UK, and all over the USA to master the art of oil and acrylic paintings. I produced award-winning portraits for my clients while I was in Cavalier, ND. I also produced oil and acrylic paintings. My work has been shown in print and on screen internationally.
I have been teaching and judging print and art competitions in the USA. I was honored to be the keynote speaker in New Orleans at the Louisiana PPA in 2019.
I promise to write on how to create the kind of portraits that will be passed on through generations and be the best professional photographer in Fargo.
